Frequently Asked Questions
A virtual refreshathon is a physical wellness event that takes place online instead of in person. Participants sign up and then complete the designated distance wherever and whenever they want. Results are then tracked and verified online.
Anyone over the age of 17 can participate in this event. Students and working professionals are highly encouraged to participate.
You can run it wherever you'd like!
The minimum distance that you need to cover each day will depend on the level you have selected. Generally, the higher the level, the more distance you will need to cover each day. However, it is important to remember that you should only attempt the distance that feels comfortable and safe for you. For more details, click here
Our goal is to help you make running a habit, so if you don't cover the chosen distance per day, you may not receive any rewards. However, we encourage you to set realistic goals and try your best to complete the chosen distance each day.
You can use either Strava or Google Fit for tracking. Additionally, prior to the event, we will be launching our own app for tracking.
You don't need to manually upload your activity. If you're using Google Fit or Strava, we will automatically fetch your data using your connected account. If you're using a different app, you may need to sync it with Google Fit or Strava for automatic tracking.
Changing your activity type mid-event may affect the consistency of your daily goal tracking. To ensure accurate progress tracking, we recommend continuing with the activity you initially selected.
Unfortunately, registration for the refreshathon is non-refundable and you cannot cancel your registration. It is up to you to decide if you would like to participate after registering.
